It must be self-evident that facilities receiving individuals in such vulnerable life situations that they are placed in full-time residential care have the highest density of competent treatment resources and actively take responsibility for using evidence-based methods, careful follow-up, and simultaneously keeping costs to society as low as possible. WeMind Individual & Family AB operates HVB homes, school activities, outpatient services, CBT clinics, as well as training and supervision. In fall 2025, WeMind is finally opening an HVB for both boys and girls in northern Stockholm, Upplands Väsby. Your New Workplace We are now seeking several driven and good team players for the opening of WeMind HVB Väsby. It is a workplace driven by the ambition to develop a treatment environment that is the best possible, while also being a fun and developmental workplace. The residence in Upplands Väsby is located in a quiet residential area in Upplands Väsby, with good transportation. It consists of two units, one of which is a treatment home with seven places and the other an assessment unit with five places. We work with boys and girls aged 13-17 years who have psychosocial difficulties in combination with neuropsychiatric disabilities and/or qualified psychiatric needs. The target group consists of placed youth with psychosocial problems such as difficulties in family relationships, school absence, isolation issues and/or behavioral problems such as defiance, acting out, or self-harm. Challenges related to substance abuse and criminality are not part of the target group, and we can offer completely drug-free environments to thrive and grow in. We specialize in providing qualified evidence-based interventions. Read more about our offer. You will learn about and work based on our treatment methods, which are specialized in ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis). We do not expect you to be an expert in ABA before you start, but that you have the willingness and curiosity to learn more about it. You will also be offered regular ABA supervision led by our psychologists. About the Role Work with the youth is based on a clear focus on individual treatment goals where each young person gets their own team consisting of regular staff who are responsible for the youth's treatment content and objectives. The team develops individual-specific interaction strategies, and as a treatment pedagogue you mainly work with daily support and treatment interventions. In practical terms, the work involves being available to plan and implement leisure activities, supporting school and work activities, maintaining contact with relatives, and supporting daily routines around waking/bedtime, activities, medication, and meals - all with treatment in focus. The team arrangement offers close collaboration with our other professional roles such as social workers, psychologists, social/treatment pedagogues, nurses, and doctors. You are introduced to the work by an experienced social pedagogue and always have access to other colleagues on duty as well as qualified phone support 24/7. Work Hours: Based on the facility's needs, we are looking for substitute hourly employees who can work nights both on weekends and weekdays, but also days as needed. We Are Looking for You If You Have B driver's license (required) Experience working with youth with problematic behaviors Experience working with youth and/or at residential/treatment homes Completed social pedagogue or social worker education (or equivalent) Extract from the criminal record register for work at HVB (required) As a person, you have the ability to focus on small progress rather than challenges. You have a very good ability to remain calm and be a secure adult in pressured/challenging situations. You have a humble and unpretentious attitude toward both youth and colleagues. Furthermore, you enjoy working with a treatment focus and you think it's fun to come up with your own ideas and take responsibility in the shared process of developing our treatment environment.
