We are now recruiting additional summer substitutes to join our team at Vega Supportive Housing. We offer training and a rewarding job where you can make a real difference! About the Housing Facility Vega is a supportive housing facility with 12 apartments plus a base apartment with shared common areas, conversation rooms/conference rooms. The facility serves individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, or autism-spectrum conditions. The facility is located in an area close to Haninge Centrum and public transportation, with the nearest bus stop approximately 200 meters away and walking distance to the commuter train at Vega station. About the Role As a care support worker, you will work based on the residents' individual needs and wishes, providing support in daily life using a pedagogical approach. Together with other team members, you work toward making each day meaningful and enriching. You will support and guide residents in areas including personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the role is to stimulate and motivate residents to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your responsibilities also include documenting and planning according to implementation plans. Working hours include daytime, evening shifts, weekends, and on-call nights. You will have a group manager who shares their time working in the facility. Your Experience and Knowledge You have upper secondary education in health and care or equivalent qualification. You have strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, good computer skills, and documentation experience. It is advantageous if you have experience working with this target group. Beyond that, your CV is not the most important factor. If you have the right qualities, we will support you and provide opportunities to grow.
