As a temporary staff member through the Staffing Unit at Säffle Municipality, you get varied work where no two days are the same, while you can also influence when you want to work by entering your availability. We are now seeking more committed temporary staff for our operations within: Home Care Services Care Facilities Short-term Housing Respite Care Job Responsibilities As temporary staff in Care and Support Services, you work providing support, service, and care to persons who have been granted services according to the Social Services Act. You also perform work tasks within the Health and Medical Care Act after delegation. Together with colleagues and other professional groups, you work to create safety, well-being, and a meaningful everyday life for service users, always with the individual's needs and circumstances in focus. We are looking for you who Have a genuine interest in people and enjoy helping others in their daily lives. You are responsible, flexible, and able to adapt easily to different situations and workplaces. The work involves many interactions with people, which requires you to be empathetic, attentive, and have good interpersonal skills. You enjoy collaborating with others while having the ability to take your own initiatives and make independent decisions when the situation requires it. Even during periods of higher work pace, you remain calm and act safely and professionally. You treat colleagues, service users, and relatives with respect and contribute to a positive work environment. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Qualifications You have reached 18 years of age. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. You can work varying shifts, day, evening, night, and weekends Meritorious It is meritorious if you have education in care and support or are pursuing studies in the field. Previous experience working in care and support is also advantageous. If you have a B-class driving license, it is particularly valuable if you are interested in working within home care services. About the Staffing Unit The Staffing Unit is responsible for short-term temporary assignments within the Social Services Department and the Children and Education Department. We offer opportunities to work within, among others, Care and Support Services, support functions, preschools, schools, and food services. As temporary staff, you are booked based on the operations' needs. The work involves great variety as you get the opportunity to work at several different workplaces around the municipality. Workplaces are located both in central Säffle and in rural areas. A driver's license and access to a car are therefore an advantage. Introduction and Training For work within the Social Services Department, you are required to complete training in medication handling and care and pass a final test for medication delegation. The training is arranged by us before you start working. Recruitment Process We work with continuous selection and invite relevant candidates for interviews. Interviews are conducted on-site.
