Description of the Activity The municipality's meal service consists of eight kitchens that prepare and serve approximately 1,500 portions per day to elderly care, preschools, and schools. We are now seeking a kitchen assistant for Jennings reception kitchen. Within meal service, we work together to deliver good and safe meals to the municipality's operations. Your Assignment As a kitchen assistant, you work together with other colleagues in the daily kitchen work. You contribute to the kitchen running smoothly and to meals being prepared and served in a safe and secure manner. Your work tasks include, among other things: Dishing and cleaning and keeping the kitchen facilities clean according to applicable procedures Preparing vegetables and other simple food items Preparing breakfast and snacks Ordering food and meal portions for the reception kitchen Participating in self-inspection and food hygiene work Your Competence and Experience Requirements Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing Meritorious Education in restaurant, large-scale food service, or food handling Experience working in a kitchen, restaurant, or large-scale food service establishment Knowledge of food hygiene Is This You?
