About the Operation
We are now seeking a nurse for a temporary position (with the possibility of permanent employment) in Department 90 (psychiatric intensive care). County Adult Psychiatry Falun/Säter has a county-wide mission within adult psychiatry and is responsible for the care and treatment of patients in acute psychiatric conditions. The operation is divided between Falun and Säter. In Säter, you'll find the county's only psychiatric emergency clinic as well as Departments 90 and 95. In Falun, there is a dependency center, a general psychiatric inpatient ward, LARO, and ECT services.
Department 90 in Säter serves patients with serious psychiatric conditions and a great need for intensive care and observation, for example during psychoses and manic episodes. Many patients receive care under LPT. The department has 10 care beds and high staffing around the clock.
The position includes day and evening shifts as well as weekend on-call duty - every other or every third weekend.
Responsibilities
As a nurse on our department, you lead and coordinate nursing care on the unit. You are responsible for rounds, conduct patient and family conversations, and collaborate with nursing colleagues. The role also includes participating in discharge planning as well as performing blood draws and medication management. You collaborate with care coordinators regarding ÖPT patients. On the departments, nurses, doctors, and nursing assistants work closely together along with the treatment team (counselor, psychologist, occupational therapist).

We are looking for you if you:
Are a licensed nurse (or graduating soon)
Have an interest in psychiatric care, especially in acute situations
Are flexible, responsible, and want to develop in your professional role
Have good collaboration skills and enjoy working in a team

It is a merit if you have:
Specialist training in psychiatry
Experience in psychiatric work
