About the Position As a substitute teacher in the afterschool program at Olympiaskolan, you will work to complement the pedagogical activities in the classroom and provide all-day learning for our students. During school days, you collaborate with teachers and conduct instruction during FRIS sessions as a supplement to subject teaching in grades 1 and 2. In the afternoons, you work in the afterschool program together with other afterschool teachers, social pedagogues, and afterschool leaders. Our afterschool program is open 06.00-18.00, and it is important that you are able to work in both morning and afternoon activities. You and your colleagues are responsible for planning, implementing, reflection, and evaluation of the program. You provide stimulating and challenging instruction that contributes to students' development, learning, and goal achievement, as well as giving them a meaningful and enjoyable afterschool experience. Together with your team, you create good learning environments and opportunities for creative learning. You are well-grounded in current curriculum documents and work toward the school's established goals. The role also includes promoting diverse contacts, social community, and strengthening group relationships. Like others in the collegium, you are an active recess supervisor and eat lunch with students for pedagogical purposes several days per week. Cooperation between Annelundsskolan and Olympiaskolan is extensive, and development work is done jointly. In our afterschool program, one of Kävlinge Municipality's lead teachers in afterschool activities works, which provides extra capacity in development efforts. It is important that you are confident in your leadership and have the ability to lead both small and large groups. You have pedagogical training, such as as an afterschool pedagogue, afterschool teacher, preschool teacher, or grades F-3 teacher. We would like to see that you have previous experience working in an afterschool program. You work with a clear student focus and are involved in students' learning. You communicate and act in a way that creates good relationships You see solutions, come up with new ideas, and work both independently and collaboratively You are positive, responsible, attentive, and engaged Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. About the Employment The position is a substitute position for the fall semester with 100% employment at earliest possible start date. The Annelund/Olympia Principal's Area consists of two F-6 schools with a combined total of just over 500 students.
