Primary school/adapted primary school activities are part of the Education Administration. The activities include 21 primary schools as well as adapted primary school and the total number of students is approximately 4,500. Four of the primary schools are upper secondary schools while the others, with a few exceptions, cover grades F-6. The activities also include after-school centers.
Bråstorpskolan, grades F-6 and after-school center, is centrally located in Motala within walking and cycling distance to most places, in a quiet area surrounded by beautiful nature. The after-school center's goal is to guide students and interest them in various meaningful leisure activities, as well as complement regular school activities. The school's motto is security, knowledge, and community, which permeates our operations and we work with a variety of methods to meet all students' needs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Bråstorpskolan is seeking a substitute teacher for grades 4-6 with certification to teach Swedish, Social Studies, and English; it is advantageous if you have certification to teach Music. You are responsible for planning, conducting, and evaluating your teaching in a clear manner, both individually and in collaboration with work teams and other colleagues. Through your subject knowledge and commitment, you create a creative and motivating learning environment where student development is in focus. You work according to current procedures for individual development plans and assessment work. You collaborate with colleagues, student services, students, and guardians to create a safe and developmental learning environment for the students.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who holds a teaching license and has certification to teach Swedish, Social Studies, and English in grades 4-6. For us, it is important that you have a clear focus on students and we place great emphasis on personal suitability.
We expect you to create a safe learning environment based on mutual respect and communication where you take advantage of each student's abilities and competencies. Furthermore, you have the ability to create well-functioning collaboration with both students, guardians, and colleagues to contribute to good cooperation in the workplace.
Salary form: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: 2026-11-02, end date: 2027-10-31.
Working hours: Monday-Friday daytime
