Hästhagenskolan is a F-5 school located in Floda, Lerum Municipality. The school currently has approximately 250 students and is situated in a nature-close area. The school is in close proximity to train and public transportation with good commuting options from Gothenburg and Alingsås. The school is organized into 4 work teams. The teams are the hub of the organization and have significant mandate to change, develop, and influence development matters. WORK DUTIES Your role is to develop students toward their full potential. Being a teacher at Hästhagenskolan means you develop and adapt different learning environments where all senses are involved in learning. You express your views in pedagogical development matters and in the team's work. You belong to work team 2-3 and have full responsibility for assessment and classroom instruction for grade 2. You adapt your teaching based on students and situation. In your role as teacher/pedagogical staff at the unit, you are responsible together with concerned colleagues for students' development and goal achievement. You have a solution-focused, collaborative, and independent work approach with students in focus. Your role includes class responsibility, where you serve as mentor for students in the class, which means you follow up on students' progress toward knowledge requirements and also their social development in close collaboration with guardians and other staff. QUALIFICATIONS • Teacher certification with eligibility to teach grades 1-3. • Good knowledge of the Swedish language both orally and in writing. • You have experience working with students with SEN. Meritorious: • Good knowledge of and practical application of formative assessment and experience communicating in a digital learning platform. • Experience in leading collaborative learning in work teams or subject areas. • Certification in some practical aesthetic subject. Employment type: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 3-6 months, start: 2026-09-21, end: 2026-12-18. Work hours: Daytime.
