The Children and Education Administration works on behalf of the Preschool Board and Primary School Board. The administration is responsible for preschool activities, school childcare, primary school, and adapted primary school. All of our employees play an important role in this. 1 position(s). Tomtbergaskolan is a modern F-6 school in central Huddinge with approximately 480 students. About the Work We are seeking a student assistant who wants to help create the best possible conditions for a student's learning, development, and safety during the school day. As a student assistant, you work closely with one or more students in need of special support. The assignment involves providing individualized support based on the student's needs to create conditions for participation, social development, and goal achievement. You support the student in teaching situations, transitions, breaks, and other parts of the school day. The work takes place in close collaboration with teachers, special educators, student health services, guardians, and other school staff. You help create a safe, structured, and accessible learning environment where the student has the opportunity to develop according to their abilities. The assignment also includes: Supporting the student's learning, communication, and social interaction. Working based on established support measures and agreed-upon adaptations. Contributing to structure, predictability, and safety in the student's school day. Collaborating with school staff regarding the student's development and needs. Documenting and following up on interventions according to the operation's procedures. About You We are looking for someone who: Is confident, responsible, and has genuine commitment to children and young people's development. Has a strong ability to build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. Has a low-affect, solution-focused, and professional approach. Is flexible and can adapt your support based on the student's mood and needs. Has good collaboration skills and contributes to a positive work environment. Has the ability to create structure and clarity in daily routines. We would appreciate it if you have experience working with students in need of special support, for example within NPF (neuropsychiatric disabilities). Qualifications Secondary education with a pedagogical or social focus, the children and leisure program, or other education that the employer considers equivalent. Experience working with children or young people is advantageous. Experience working as a student assistant or working with students in need of special support is particularly advantageous. Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. The position is part-time 50% from as soon as possible until 23/10. Why Huddinge?
