Home Care Services Mellersta is looking for hourly temporary staff who are trained nursing assistants/care workers and who want to contribute to creating quality of life and meaningful experiences for the care recipients who receive home care services. Home Care Services Mellersta operates from Ekbacka in central Borgholm and serves care recipients from Föra down to the municipal border. Within our work teams, we are organized into smaller groups where we work according to a person-centered and rehabilitative approach, with a focus on continuity and quality in our work to provide good care and support. JOB DUTIES Working in care and support means that in your work you truly make a difference in other people's daily lives. As a nursing assistant/care worker in home care, you will have varying job duties and work according to a rehabilitative approach where the care recipient's needs and life situation affect how the tasks are carried out. Based on individual care decisions, you will support people who have been approved for home care services to manage their daily living. Care recipients may need help with, for example, personal care, social activities, service provision, and medication management. We use digital work tools where we register visits, document medication administration, and keep records. You will work in accordance with the Social Services Act (SoL), but will also perform health and medical care tasks (HSL assignments) under delegation from licensed personnel. Working hours are distributed across day shifts, evening shifts, and weekends. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who; • is at least 18 years old • is a trained nursing assistant or care worker • holds a B driver's license • has very good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written • has a genuine interest in working with people and can meet each individual based on their personal needs and preferences • is positive, flexible, has a respectful and professional approach, and good collaboration skills • works according to a rehabilitative approach • takes responsibility for your work tasks and takes own initiative and shows commitment • has required computer skills, preferably in Lifecare Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities. Wage form: Hourly wage. Employment form: Fixed-term employment. Duration, start date: Start date by agreement. Working hours: Shift schedule. Any person offered work, assignment, or internship in elderly care must provide an extract from the police criminal records register. The register extract to be used is: "Work in the home with elderly people and people with disabilities," via the police authority's e-service. Extracts must not be older than six months. The criminal record check is a requirement to begin the employment or assignment.
