Do you want to work as a warehouse associate starting in October? Do you have another job or are you studying and can work 2–3 full weekdays per week during school terms with the possibility to work more during Christmas, Easter, and summer? The tasks as a forklift driver/warehouse associate at ICA's warehouse in Västerås will mainly involve forklift driving and picking goods by hand using a voice-guided system that instructs you what to pick. The work is physically demanding, characterized by a high work pace and clear targets, and you will work in different temperature zones. To be eligible for this position, you must be very flexible with your availability and be able to work daytime hours at least 2 full weekdays per week; weekends are in addition. THIS IS WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR ICA operates warehouse activities 24/7 every day of the week. You should view this as a long-term part-time job and have a strong work ethic. This is a consultant assignment, which means you will be employed by StudentConsulting but will be assigned to our client ICA. We are currently recruiting with a preliminary introduction start on Thursday week 45. Note that the introduction spans 11.5 working days and requires 100% attendance. Therefore, it is a requirement that you are available full-time during weeks 45–47. To be eligible for this position, it is a REQUIREMENT that you have another job or are studying at least 50% and have at least one year remaining in your studies. Phone interviews will take place continuously starting week 39. Furthermore, you should have: * Forklift certification A1-4 (REQUIRED), preferably with driving experience. * Good physical fitness. * Clear criminal background check. * Very good ability to understand and communicate in Swedish. * Preferable to have a B driver's license and access to your own car to quickly get to the workplace. In this role you will work toward high targets and will be coached daily on your development; it is therefore important that you thrive in a high-paced environment and strive to achieve good results in your work. We will request extracts from the criminal background register and conduct drug tests as part of the process. ICA's aim is to have smoke-free workplaces.
