About the Role
As a Design Engineer at OSTP, you develop and design tools, machines, and production equipment for our facilities in Örnsköldsvik. You work in SolidWorks and often have full responsibility for projects, from requirements definition and design to installation and commissioning.
You collaborate closely with automation engineers, technicians, toolmakers, and users in production. Projects vary between new equipment development for future products and improvements to existing facilities.
The role also includes preparing technical documentation, risk analyses, user manuals, and materials for CE marking.
We Believe You Have
Engineering degree or equivalent experience
Experience in mechanical design
Good CAD skills, preferably SolidWorks
An interest in technical development and problem-solving
Ability to collaborate and drive projects forward
Experience in manufacturing industry, hydraulics, or pneumatics is a plus.
