Attendo Åbovägen is a specialized residential facility located in Högstorp, just outside Växjö. The facility consists of 44 apartments distributed across four units, three with a somatic focus and one specialized in dementia care. The residence has a special focus on culture and entertainment, which means we place great emphasis on activities, social interaction, and meaningful experiences for our customers. About the Role As a nursing assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and stimulating environment for our customers. You are responsible for providing good care and support to our customers. Creating a positive and social atmosphere during meals is a large part of your role, as well as contributing various activities that enrich daily life for our elderly residents. Your work tasks include: Personal care according to the facility's routines based on the customer's individual needs and wishes When needed, help with preparing, cooking, and serving meals, cleaning, laundry, etc. Perform documentation and work according to decided interventions Collaborate with external and internal contacts such as guardians, relatives, residents, nurses, and rehabilitation staff. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Qualifications Requirements: Nursing assistant education of at least 1350 credits. Certificate from the Social Board or attestation from current/previous employer regarding permanent employment as a nursing assistant. Good knowledge of Swedish language (speaking and writing) Good computer skills/computer experience Meritorious: Experience from care work in elderly care Experience with task delegation.
