Job Responsibilities We are now seeking a section manager for the LSS Housing department, unit 3. In this role, you will have the opportunity to combine close and developmental leadership with responsibility for the quality, development, and results of the operation. Together with manager colleagues and employees, you will contribute to creating the best possible support and quality of life for Malmö residents with disabilities. As a first-line manager, you are responsible for two LSS residences and lead the operation based on established goals, quality, and budget. You have responsibility for operations, personnel, work environment, and finances, and actively work to create participation, engagement, and good conditions for employee development. An important part of the assignment is to translate the operation's goals into daily work and create conditions for a sustainable and high-quality operation. You will be part of an engaged management team where you collectively take responsibility for the operation's development and work for the benefit of Malmö residents. In this role, you will work closely with manager colleagues and receive support from the unit manager, management support, development secretary, and the administration's support functions. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a university or college degree of at least 180 credits with a focus on behavioral sciences, health, society, or equivalent education. It is necessary that you have previous experience in a full management position with responsibility for personnel, budget, and work environment within a relevant field of operations. You also need to have experience working within LSS operations. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and have good digital skills. We are looking for someone who is a confident and clear leader who creates engagement, participation, and good collaboration. You have a holistic perspective and make well-founded decisions based on what is best for the operation, while remaining loyal to assignments, goals, and decisions made. You are flexible and see opportunities in change. Even when circumstances shift rapidly, you maintain calm, structure, and focus, which creates security for both employees and the operation. You communicate clearly, follow up on results, and handle personnel matters and employment law issues with professionalism, clarity, and respect. Through inclusive and trustful leadership, you build good relationships with employees, manager colleagues, union representatives, and other partners. You support and develop your employees and create conditions for responsibility, development, and good results. With a strategic perspective, you lead the operation toward the administration's and the City of Malmö's overarching goals, with a focus on quality, development, and long-term sustainable results.
