As a truck mechanic, you'll have the opportunity to work with the latest technology in Volvo's modern powertrain, as well as the chance to experience traditional, honest mechanical work. You'll perform troubleshooting, service, and repairs on trucks, trailers, and custom-built vehicles. You don't need to know everything from the start, but we believe you have a solid foundation as a mechanic or training in heavy vehicles. We also offer excellent development opportunities, including through Volvo's own training school. Who Are You? You are someone with a strong sense of customer service who works goal-oriented with the customer's needs as your natural starting point. You are quality-conscious, have good planning and prioritization skills, and sound judgment. You have an interest in technology and vehicles, as well as some years of experience in similar work. Qualifications and Experience: Relevant training or previous experience considered equivalent Good communication skills Good customer service skills Computer proficiency Class B driver's license Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written Good electrical knowledge and troubleshooting experience are highly desirable. Employment, Scope, Location, and Start Date: The position is a permanent employment at 100% based in Mora. Start date by agreement. Six-month probationary period.
