Do you have an interest in outdoor activities and enjoy spending time in nature? Are you passionate about children's development? We're looking for you to join our forward-thinking and positive team to continue developing Fjällbjörken into an exceptional preschool. Now is your chance to take on a temporary position at 75% from August 2026 through December 31st. There is also the possibility of extending the position until June 2027. Perfect if you want to try working in our program. Fjällbjörken Preschool is a parent cooperative with a pedagogical approach focused on outdoor education and creativity, where we encourage children to explore on their own. The facilities are designed for our program's needs and inspired by Reggio Emilia. We have space for 20 children between 1-5 years old. Our grounds feature a beautiful mountain birch forest where we prefer to spend our days. We work toward sustainable development and want children to develop a connection with nature and its cycles. Our fundamental approach is based on respect for children's thoughts, feelings, needs, and interests. Our environmental philosophy runs through all of our educational activities. Serving children nutritious organic meals prepared in our own kitchen by knowledgeable and committed staff is important to us. We're looking for you if you: Are a childcare educator or preschool teacher with preschool teacher training, or have previous experience caring for children. We would appreciate your interest in outdoor activities and comfort spending time in nature. Our program is committed to continuous professional development for each staff member as a pedagogue alongside their colleagues.
