Within the social care administration, approximately 1,200 engaged employees work to provide support and care to those in need in our municipality. The work takes place within elderly care, home services, disability services, and social psychiatry, as well as child and family services. 2 position(s). JOB DUTIES We're now seeking two occupational therapists with different assignments. One of these positions is an expansion as our unit grows. The other position has a special focus on Disability Services and Social Psychiatry (FoS). Here you'll work with people over 20 years old with physical and/or mental disabilities within LSS activities, day activities, and ordinary housing. As an occupational therapist with us, you'll have varied and independent work where you work together with the individual to create conditions for activity, participation, and independence. You work person-centered with assessment, rehabilitation, and habilitation based on the individual's needs, resources, and goals. The work includes activity and functional assessments, assistive device prescriptions, housing adaptations, and designing and following up rehabilitative and habilitative interventions. You mentor and support base staff in a rehabilitative approach and work closely with physiotherapists, nurses, and other professional disciplines. As an occupational therapist, you'll have the opportunity to contribute your expertise and ideas and be part of developing municipal rehabilitation and our services. As a new occupational therapist, you'll receive support from an experienced colleague during the introduction and have the opportunity to develop in your professional role and become part of the team in a safe and sustainable way. For the position within disability services and social psychiatry, the start date is 2/11-2026 For the expansion position, the start date is 4/1-2027 QUALIFICATIONS We're looking for you who: • Are a licensed occupational therapist. • Have good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. • Have a B driver's license for manual cars. • Have good computer skills and ability to document. It's advantageous if you have: • Experience working as an occupational therapist in municipal health and medical care, particularly in ordinary and special housing. • Experience working within disability services and social psychiatry. • Experience with assistive device prescriptions and housing adaptations. • Experience working in multiprofessional teams and collaboration with other healthcare providers. • Experience with documentation in Lifecare HSL, Myloc, and Mina planer. We also welcome those who are new to the profession or who lack experience in municipal health and medical care.
