WORK TASKS As a firefighter at Höganäs Rescue Service, you will work with a variety of tasks in a dynamic organization. We are now looking for someone who wants to contribute to developing our operations. We seek someone who wants to work with people and who finds stimulation in both damage mitigation and prevention work. You see the rescue service as part of society's and the municipality's combined action production, and you have a good understanding of the broader picture and total assistance needs. Höganäs Rescue Service is an organization with a broad competence profile. One of our specialized competencies is advanced rescue operations, which we practice and apply as a regional resource. Bandvagns for wildlife rescue and forest fire suppression, as well as boats for offshore operations, are some examples of the breadth of Höganäs—this offers great opportunity for variation in work tasks. As a firefighter with us, you will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other departments and organizations within the municipality or with active businesses, large and small. Through our small-scale operations, you as a firefighter should have a broad competence profile in both the ability to work within damage mitigation activities and to contribute to prevention work. QUALIFICATIONS The position requires SMO or Firefighter full-time 15 weeks BmH training, alternatively work experience within RiB (part-time firefighter) as background. Driver's license requirement minimum category B. As part of the recruitment process, we will ask final candidates to provide an extract from the criminal record. MERITS: It is meritorious if you have previous experience from full-time service at a municipal rescue service. Have completed training in supervision according to LSO and have experience planning and conducting supervision matters within the rescue service. You have driver's license requirement BE C. Additional merits include boat operator certification, training in care and/or pedagogy. TESTS: Tests and interviews will be conducted over two days, scheduled for week 40. The tests include: Day 1: • Treadmill test according to AFS 2023:15 at 4.5kw • Work-related circuit • Practical test • Height test Day 2: • Water Guldbojen • Pyramid* • Interviews * The Pyramid is a new physical test for us.
