JOB DUTIES Veterinarian As a veterinarian with us, you have the opportunity to work broadly and variably with all types of animals, but there is also room to develop expertise within a specific animal type or area. We work on Öland and in the Kalmar district, primarily with large animal practice in the field, both planned activities and acute cases. We also have a smaller small animal clinic and an equine clinic at our facility in Färjestaden. The work is often independent and varied, which means you perform everything from simple treatments to more advanced procedures and animal welfare cases. Your colleagues and our supervising veterinarians are available for support. You always have someone to consult. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is more of a general practitioner than a specialist, and who sees working with multiple different animal species as an advantage. You enjoy collaborating with others and value good teamwork. As a veterinarian, you take responsibility for driving your work forward. You thrive in an operation where the day can quickly change, where we adapt and help each other to handle situations that arise. With your calm demeanor and ability to be organized, you plan and organize your work efficiently. As a veterinarian, you quickly find solutions to problems that arise and demonstrate good judgment in the decisions you make. Swedish veterinary license and category B driver's license are required.
