About the Position
Ikett Personalpartner is now seeking a careful and dedicated tool technician for one of our clients in Finspång!
Here you'll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you play an important role in ensuring that the company's tools and instruments maintain the highest quality, from delivery to return.
In your role as a tool technician, you will have varied and practical work where you handle everything from inspecting and maintaining toolboxes to quality assurance of equipment before and after use. You are responsible for ensuring that all tools and instruments sent out or returned are in good condition and meet the company's quality standards. You will also participate in improvement projects in the workshop and have the opportunity to influence work methods and processes in a developing operation. Forklift and overhead crane operation may also occur.
Start date is immediate or by agreement. Working hours are during the day.
Your Profile
We would like you to have:
- Basic electrical knowledge, whether from school or personal interest
- General interest in technology & instruments
- Technical aptitude with computers, electrical systems, and technology
- 3 or 4-year technical high school education
- Experience working in a warehouse environment and goods receiving
- Good communication skills and a service-oriented attitude
- Electrical workshop experience
- Forklift and overhead crane certification is a requirement.
If you also have experience working with maintenance or repair of fine electronics, this is a major plus.
The person we are looking for will work with:
Packing orders with various instruments for customers. Cleaning and visually inspecting the instruments. Some calibration and functional testing are part of the daily work, so general knowledge, interest, and understanding of IT and technology are highly valued. You need to have the aptitude for logical thinking and understanding of basic technology to solve occasional challenges that arise with our instruments.
As a person, we want you to be responsible, goal-oriented, flexible, positive, organized, and have good collaboration skills since the work takes place at our customers' locations.
