Ljungdahls Mekaniska designs and manufactures molds and rubber tools for the plastics industry. This means we primarily work with one-off production and some contract manufacturing in construction steel and hardened steel. We also perform a considerable amount of modifications and repairs on existing tools. Our customers are mostly located in the southern part of Sweden. We mainly work with controlled milling and turning machines as well as EDM (electrical discharge machining). We have 7 employees and are now looking for a new team member. We are looking for someone with experience in cutting operations as an operator of a 5-axis Emco MMV2000 milling machine. Your tasks will include: CNC milling Blueprint reading Bench work To succeed in this role, we believe you have at least 5 years of relevant work experience and relevant education. We value experience working independently with great variation and tight tolerances. Experience with tool manufacturing and HEIDENHAIN control systems is a merit. As a person, you should be quite creative since there are many small problems that need to be solved when manufacturing molds. Experience in tool manufacturing is, as mentioned, a merit. We understand that this is not the most common experience, so you can learn it along the way. It is important to deliver high quality in the things being manufactured. We are more interested in high quality than speed. Both are of course perfect. You will become part of a professional team. Since the work is very independent, you are expected to take great responsibility for your work and you also have great opportunities to develop in your professional role.
