In your role as Workshop Manager, you are the one who ensures quality, safety, and efficiency in daily operations within field service. You are responsible for coaching, developing, and supporting technicians, ensuring that our work is performed according to company requirements, and you are a key person in our goal of achieving high customer satisfaction, good profitability, and smooth operations. As workshop manager, you are part of the local management team and have personnel, budget, and results responsibility for the department. An important part of the role is being an active link between customers, technicians, specialists, and management. You will have great opportunity to influence operations and work with freedom under responsibility, and you report to the site manager. The position is located in our operations in the Aitik area in Gällivare, and travel may occur occasionally. Responsibilities: Personnel responsibility for 5-10 employees and overall responsibility for daily operations of Field Service in collaboration with service managers/shift leaders and planners Develop, coach, and follow up on employees and managers and promote a culture characterized by responsible collaboration and continuous improvement Hold results and budget responsibility for the Field Service department Responsible for the department's customer relationships and customer satisfaction and be an active link between customers, employees, and company management Ensure that invoicing and documentation in the department are performed in accordance with company procedures Follow up that work is performed with the right quality and be responsible for handling complaints and warranty cases professionally Ensure that resources, spare parts, tools, and equipment are available for operations. Additionally, support the organization with technical and operational issues as needed Contribute to business development and upselling Drive improvement work for increased quality, productivity, and profitability Overall responsibility for working environment, safety, and compliance with company guidelines Requirements: Several years of experience from the construction, mining, or automotive industry Documented experience in leadership and personnel responsibility Experience with budget, results, and operational follow-up Good technical understanding of service and maintenance operations Experience with customer and business relationships Good general computer and systems proficiency Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing Good knowledge of English in speech and writing Driving license B Meritorious: Any form of relevant education within the role's areas of responsibility The position is full-time and daytime, working hours are Monday to Friday 7-16.
