About the Position Folkuniversitetet's course activities offer daytime and evening courses as well as longer educational programs and lectures in aesthetic fields, languages, and working life. As workshop manager, you have an important function in ensuring that our ceramic workshop in Ystad is well-organized, safe, and functioning for both instructors and participants. You are responsible for the daily operations of the workshop and contribute to creating good conditions for the activities. Responsibilities Manage the daily function and organization of the workshop Handle kiln loading, firing, glaze handling, and equipment maintenance Coordinate material orders and inventory management Ensure that workplace safety and health routines are followed Support instructors and participants with practical matters Contribute to the development of activities in Ystad Your Competence and Background We are looking for someone who Has experience in ceramic workshop operations Has knowledge of various clay properties, firing techniques, glazes, other materials, and equipment Is organized, responsible, and solution-oriented Is service-minded and enjoys working in an environment with many contact points Is communicative within a team It is an advantage if you Have experience in a similar role as workshop manager Have pedagogical experience or experience supporting course activities Have experience working within popular education or educational activities About the Employment Employment form by agreement For further information and questions Kristina af Klinteberg [email protected] Coordinator with special development responsibility Trade union representatives [email protected] Application Welcome to submit your application in the form of a CV and cover letter through our recruitment tool.
