Job Responsibilities Do you want to help shape the future of adult education in Gothenburg? Gothenburg City Education Administration (UBF) is seeking an engaged and competent Business Development Manager for Studium. Studium and UBF represent a dynamic and innovative educational environment offering a broad range of in-house adult education programs. As Business Development Manager, you will be part of the management team and report directly to the Education Director. Your primary role is to collaborate and provide qualified support to the Rector, while working closely with the Education Director on strategic matters. Quality Management and Compliance Develop systematic quality work at both unit and organizational levels. Responsible for producing the organization's quality report for in-house operations. Ensure quality of governing plans, decisions, and supporting documents. Monitor external developments and drive implementation of new laws, regulations, and curriculum changes. Rector Support Lead and structure learning formats within the rector group. Provide qualified support to rectors. Step in and cover temporary rector vacancies. Strategic Development Work Work closely with the Education Director on overarching and strategic priorities. Plan, lead, and follow up targeted initiatives to improve educational quality. Collaboration and Representation Represent the Education Administration (UBF) in internal and external networks/working groups regarding adult education. Ensure close collaboration with the Planning and Development department. Qualifications To succeed in the role of Business Development Manager, we see that you have relevant pedagogical education. You must have completed rector training and have worked as a rector. You have documented experience leading and driving quality work within schools, with particular focus on adult education. You have strong ability to analyze and understand schools' pedagogical processes, and to identify development opportunities that promote high goal achievement. Working with quality development within education, particularly adult education, is something you are well familiar with. Your digital skills are high, and you express yourself fluently in both speech and writing. You also have experience collaborating and communicating with authorities such as the Swedish Schools Inspectorate and the Work Environment Authority. We place great value on your ability to build and maintain professional relationships, both internally and externally.
