Do you want to combine finance, business understanding, and digitalization? VertiGIS is seeking an engaged Business Consultant who wants to be part of developing, streamlining, and digitalizing system processes in finance and water management – with a particular focus on the public sector. In this role, you will be a key link between the business, IT, and our system solutions. You will work closely with our customers to understand their needs, translate business requirements into smart system solutions, and contribute to a simpler and more efficient everyday for end users. You will work with implementation, configuration, development, and improvement of system solutions, with particular focus on general ledger, accounts receivable, and processes within water and wastewater. About the Role As a business consultant, you will have a varied role where business understanding, finance, and digitalization come together. You will work both strategically and operationally – from analyzing customer needs and designing solutions to configuring systems, training users, and following up to ensure the solution works in practice. You will be part of a team of competent colleagues and work closely with our customers, primarily in the public sector. Assignments vary and give you the opportunity to both deepen your expertise and develop in new areas. Your Main Responsibilities Implement and configure ERP solutions within finance and water management. Manage implementation and development of system processes in general ledger, accounts receivable, and processes related to water and wastewater. Conduct needs analyses and system-related investigations. Identify areas for improvement and develop solution proposals. Translate business needs into requirements specifications, system solutions, and documentation. Train users and provide support in customers' daily operations. Participate in projects related to water management operations, billing, and subscriber management. Contribute to development and digitalization of our customers' processes in finance and water. Collaborate with colleagues in business, IT, and other specialist areas to create comprehensive solutions. We are Looking for Someone Who Has Experience with ERP systems in finance. Strong knowledge of accounting, bookkeeping, and accounts receivable. Experience in project management, system implementation, or business development. Ability to understand business needs and translate them into effective system solutions. An interest in digitalization and how technology can simplify and streamline business processes. Good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. Desirable Experience with ERP systems such as Unit4, NetSuite, IFS, Dynamics 365, SAP, or similar. Experience from the water management sector or municipal operations. Knowledge of subscription management, water rates, and billing in the public sector. Experience with system integrations and data migration. Experience working with business systems in the public sector. Who Are You?
