We are now recruiting an Operations Director who wants to continue developing Nytorp Senior Living in Sollentuna – a valued senior living facility with committed staff, satisfied residents, and excellent opportunities to make a difference every day. About Nytorp Senior Living Nytorp Senior Living is centrally located in Sollentuna with proximity to both public transportation and Sollentuna city center. The facility has 40 beds distributed over two floors; a dementia unit and a psychogeriatric unit. Here you will find a stable operation with high expertise, strong commitment, and excellent results; in the most recent resident survey, a high proportion of residents reported that they are satisfied and enjoy living at Nytorp. Your Assignment As Operations Director, you have overall responsibility for the quality, finances, work environment, and staff of the operation. You lead and develop the operation through team leaders, nurses, and care staff with a focus on high quality, excellent care, and sustainable results. In this role, you actively drive development and improvement initiatives, coach and develop your staff, and ensure that the operation is conducted in accordance with applicable legislation, agreements, and quality requirements. You collaborate with residents, family members, authorities, and other partners and contribute to developing elderly care within the business area. You are part of the management group for the SOL business area together with the business area director and colleague managers. In this role, you also have close support from specialist functions in HR, finance, quality, communication, IT, and property management. About You To succeed in this role, we see that you have: - a degree in social work, behavioral science, or other relevant higher education or university degree that includes social law - several years of leadership experience in healthcare and elderly care - very good knowledge of the Social Services Act (SoL) - good digital skills and experience with management systems and the Office suite - very good ability to express yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing You are a confident person who combines hands-on leadership with the ability to see the operation from a holistic perspective. Through commitment, clarity, and good communication, you create conditions for staff to develop, take responsibility, and succeed in their roles. You build participation and engagement by leveraging staff expertise and creating a culture characterized by collaboration, trust, and development. At the same time, you have the ability to drive change and improvement work in a long-term and sustainable way, without losing focus on what already works well. You are motivated by creating value for both residents and staff, and driven by contributing to elderly care where quality, dignity, and job satisfaction go hand in hand.
