Your Assignment As operations manager, you are responsible for operations, staff, finances, budgets, quality work, and follow-up. Your immediate team in the operation consists of planners and coordinators who support daily operations. You also work closely with your fellow managers and participate in a management group with genuine camaraderie. Support functions help and assist with, for example, finances, HR, communications, work environment, and rehabilitation. Our two overarching goals are to achieve the best possible care for service users and high satisfaction among staff. We reach these through: maintaining close dialogue with service users, their relatives, and partners leading and organizing daily work developing the staff in your team participating in the development of the entire service area by driving long-term issues and working for continuous improvement Uppsala Municipality's health and medical care organization handles the provision of licensed personnel in operations. Your Background Are you an experienced manager and inspirational leader with a genuine desire to develop care for our elderly? Then you're very interesting to us. Simply put, we're looking for someone with commitment and drive in both leadership and improvement work. One of the foundations for success in this role is that you have experience as a manager. Preferably in health and care – though not an absolute requirement. If you have professional experience specifically in home care/elderly care, that would be a strong advantage. A university degree of at least 180 credits is required. Educational areas we consider relevant for this position include social work, human resources, nursing, occupational therapy, and physiotherapy, but of course there may be other relevant alternatives. A Class B driving license is required. We're looking for someone who is confident, clear, and considerate. You establish an open climate where we learn from our mistakes, act with transparency, and welcome feedback. You're an excellent communicator who inspires and encourages participation and innovation. You have strong ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Furthermore, we expect you, like us, to work digitally and have good experience with various programs and systems.
