Our Business The Authorization Business Area is tasked with promoting safe and appropriate medicines through authorization, advisory services, and information. The business area consists of approximately 370 employees and has a staff of 12 people led by a unit manager. The staff's task is to assist the director with operational support for business management, coordination, and monitoring. You will join a group with a broad field of work that includes both project and change management, business development, and IT development. The work is carried out in collaboration with people with different competencies in different parts of the organization. Additionally, some tasks involve collaboration with other national authorities and within the EU. Your Responsibilities In your role, you will have central responsibility for business planning, analysis, and monitoring. The work is carried out largely in cross-functional working groups and includes, among other things: structuring, quality assurance, and analysis of operational data developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business results, efficiency, and development producing statistics and decision-making materials for the director and the business area's management identifying trends, patterns, and deviations to highlight development needs developing methods and approaches for strengthened data-driven monitoring active participation in the agency's work on annual reports and business planning coordination with business controllers and other relevant functions to create a unified picture of business results and development participation in presentations, training initiatives, and handling of government assignments when needed Your Background We are looking for someone with a university degree in a relevant field such as natural sciences or economics. You have documented experience in internal planning, analysis, and monitoring of operations within Life Science. You are experienced in driving and coordinating complex assignments from start to finish and have a good ability to quickly grasp new issues and work areas. It is meritorious if you have knowledge of the regulatory medicine development process in Sweden and Europe, experience working within government administration, and experience providing strategic support to management groups. The tasks require that you express yourself well in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. You can compile and present information in an accessible manner. You thrive working both independently and with others, build long-term relationships, and take initiative in new contacts. You can handle multiple parallel assignments and prioritize well.
