For our warehouse, we are looking for a colleague for the position of Team Lead, Order Picking, who will be responsible for organizing and coordinating the work of a small team of employees in order picking and preparing shipments.
This is not a position as head of the entire warehouse, but rather an operations lead position in the order picking department.
Job responsibilities:
organizing and distributing work to order picking employees,
coordinating order picking and shipment preparation,
controlling correctness, completeness, and quality of prepared materials,
oversight of adherence to work procedures and deadlines,
resolving routine operational issues,
training and supporting team members,
cooperation with warehouse management and other departments,
working with warehouse management system and routine administration related to operations.
Requirements:
at least secondary vocational education with certificate of apprenticeship,
experience in warehouse, logistics, or similar operations,
good organizational skills,
independence and responsible approach,
ability to lead and coordinate a small team,
natural authority and ability to handle routine operational situations,
basic user knowledge of PC work.
Advantages:
experience in staff management or shift coordination,
experience with order picking,
knowledge of warehouse or ERP systems,
technical or logistics education,
forklift operator certification.
English language skills.
Secondary education with diploma is an advantage, not a requirement.
