Environmental Department Head (m/f).
Brief job description:
The department head manages the entire department's work, represents the department at management meetings of the Velké Meziříčí City Office, at city council and municipal assembly sessions.
The department head will have particular responsibility for ensuring:
- State administration in the areas of water management, air protection, nature and landscape protection, agricultural soil protection, state forest administration, state hunting administration, waste management, state fisheries administration, plant protection services, veterinary services, public health protection, animal welfare protection, funeral services, etc.
- Self-government in the areas of flood protection, city forest management, waste management, green space maintenance and other areas in cooperation with technical services, etc.
- Management and remediation of accidents affecting the environment (environmental emergencies) according to the Water Act (including standby duty).
Requirements for candidates:
• Natural person, Czech citizen, or foreign national with permanent residence in the Czech Republic, older than 18 years,
• Legal capacity, clean criminal record (a natural person is not considered to have a clean record if they have been lawfully convicted of an intentional crime or a crime of negligence related to public administration duties, unless the law provides otherwise),
• Knowledge of the Czech language,
• University education in a master's degree program or university education in a bachelor's degree program,
• Knowledge of PC work (Word, Excel, Internet, Outlook),
• Class B driver's license,
• Reliability, independence, flexibility, responsible approach to task completion.
