Salary: 50,000–70,000 Kč / month

Who We're Looking For
We are seeking an experienced professional to take responsibility for the finance department and complete accounting of the company. Independence, the ability to lead a small team, organize work, and maintain systematic control are essential. Our company is undergoing major systems modernization, making this position ideal for an energetic person who embraces challenges, takes on this project, and builds the finance department according to their preferences.
Upon starting, we will familiarize you with our internal processes and the Softapp accounting system; you will assume the complete agenda gradually.
Key Responsibilities
• Complete accounting management of the company in accordance with current legislation, including VAT and corporate income tax agenda.
• Responsibility for monthly and annual closing of accounts.
• Leadership, coordination, and methodological support of an accounting team of four people.
• Active involvement in the implementation of a new accounting system and setup of related processes.
• Preparation of documents for auditors and tax consultants, communication with tax authorities and other institutions.
• Management of fixed assets records, depreciation, and inventories.
• Creation of financial summaries, reports, and analyses for company management.
• Continuous adjustment, evaluation, and optimization of accounting and finance processes; advanced Excel work.
• Occasional business travel to other Auto Dobrovolný locations in Jihlava and Znojmo.
Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a chief / independent accountant
• Excellent knowledge of Czech accounting regulations and tax legislation
• Experience with annual closings and auditor communication is an advantage
• Experience with digitalization of accounting systems is a major advantage
• Knowledge of accounting systems (we use Softapp) and very good Excel skills
• Ability to lead a team, establish processes, and deliver tasks on schedule
• Attention to detail, responsibility, and independence
• Driver's license
