Job Purpose: To perform verification, registration, processing of received invoices at Ropažu novada pašvaldība, execute related journal entries, and verify account balances.
Main Job Responsibilities:
Perform timely verification, processing of received documents and execute related journal entries in accounting and financial management software;
Prepare documents for payment;
Maintain service records. Ensure that supporting documents for service completion are attached;
Maintain inventory records;
Maintain advance settlement records;
Maintain accurate records of received documents by institution, structural unit, and materially responsible persons;
Register business transactions in accounting registers based on supporting documents;
Regularly verify accounting ledger account balances;
Ensure accounting documents are prepared in accordance with regulatory requirements;
Ensure application of methods described in accounting methodology;
Prepare reports, financial statements, inventory lists, accounting registers and supporting documents;
Prepare material and inventory inventory lists, perform reconciliation with institutions and structural units.
Requirements for Candidates:
Higher education in accounting, economics or finance;
Desired experience in accounting at state or municipal budget institutions;
Good digital skills (MS Office); experience with SIA "Dativa" programs LIETVARIS and G-VEDIS may be considered an advantage;
Knowledge of regulatory acts in accounting and ability to apply them;
Analytical thinking, accuracy and high sense of responsibility;
Ability to effectively plan and organize your work;
Ability to quickly assess situations and make reasoned decisions;
Excellent cooperation and communication skills;
State language proficiency at advanced level.
