The Public Services Regulation Commission invites applications for the Economic Analysis Department Senior Analyst YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: • Conduct analysis of tariff-forming costs compliance and economic justification. • Collect, analyze, and assess economic and financial indicators necessary for tariff setting. • Perform analysis and comparison of regulated sector and business operator performance indicators. • Develop and improve analytical tools for cost justification assessment and comparison of regulated sector business operators. • Participate in the development of cost and tariff calculation methodologies by the Regulator, as well as other regulatory acts. WE EXPECT: • Higher education in financial management. • At least 2 years of work experience as an economist, analyst, financier, accountant, or equivalent position. • Experience in document development and work with regulatory acts. • Knowledge and experience in financial and management accounting matters. • Experience in data processing and development of analytical materials, proficiency in analytical methods. • Excellent skills with MS Excel and PowerBI. SKILLS: • ability to analyze and structure large volumes of information; • collaboration, communication, and presentation skills, ability to formulate messages verbally and in writing; • excellent Latvian language, good English language (for work with EU documents and international information); • willingness to learn and develop competencies.
