Job Purpose: Within the ESF+ project "Development of Teacher Professional Support System" No. 4.2.2.3/1/24/I/001, provide unified and strategically monitored support at the state level in general education, oversee the implementation process of regulatory acts, develop cooperation with methodological centers of general education institutions, sector experts and associations, and provide methodological support measures and consultations to general education teachers. Key Job Responsibilities: Provide unified and strategically monitored professional support (in the respective subject area and educational implementation aspect) in general and vocational education at the state level, utilizing existing professional support networks and coordinating cooperation among involved parties, as well as strengthening professional support implementation practices in municipalities and cooperation with vocational education institutions in implementing general education curriculum content; Implement methodological support measures and consultations for education quality development for municipal subject area/subject coordinators and teachers within subject areas and educational fields; Plan and organize methodological support measures and consultations for education quality development for municipal methodological work coordinators and teachers within subject areas and educational fields; Conduct analysis of general education curriculum development trends in the European Union and worldwide, analyze and compile information in various general education content areas; Evaluate sample curriculum programs for subject areas and plan their updating in preschool, general primary education, and general secondary education; Evaluate or adapt general education methodological support materials, including piloting, reviewing, publishing and maintaining them in accordance with provisions established in preschool education guidelines and state primary and general secondary education standards, and organize professional development according to identified needs; Coordinate and monitor the content of developed materials across subject areas in the field and education levels, and in teacher professional development; Represent the project in curriculum development matters in state and municipal institutions, as well as in relations with natural and legal persons if related to project implementation issues; Consult with representatives of society within your area of responsibility. Requirements for Applicants: Master's degree or higher education in the field/pedagogy; At least 3 years of work experience in pedagogical work in an educational institution; At least 3 years of work experience in creating and developing curriculum content and methodological materials; Work experience in management; Knowledge and skills in coordinating working groups, creating and developing curriculum content and methodological materials; Collaboration and effective communication skills; Ability to argue and substantiate your position; Excellent Latvian language proficiency; Ability to work with computers, use software applications and other information technologies. The position is classified at level III of family 39.1 (salary group 10).
