What you can expect from the position As Warehouse Manager at Biltema, you will be responsible for managing a warehouse with a team consisting of a management group, department managers and store employees who work together to develop and run the store. You will also meet our wonderful and loyal customers, as we are a store for the whole family with products that create value and make both everyday life and leisure time easier. You are a present Warehouse Manager who leads through your management group. Throughout your workday, you coach your colleagues and in doing so see them grow and take new steps in their development. You recruit your colleagues, implement new routines and become part of our wonderful team of engaged and driven leaders. The position gives you great freedom to lead the development of the warehouse based on local conditions and goals. You are an important culture bearer and a present leader who actively participates in the work in the warehouse, in the warehouse and in meeting with customers. The role includes daily workplace safety work to make your workday fun, safe and secure. You have a broad role that entails great decisiveness and responsibility. Your introduction consists of mentoring and coaching from other warehouses as well as internal and external training. What we expect from you For you to thrive in the role, we see that you have extensive experience in sales and management within retail or grocery retail, you have probably worked as Store Manager or Warehouse Manager for at least 5 years. If you have also worked with volume retail, that is strongly meritious. You are used to coaching and leading other managers. Several years of experience in workplace safety and good knowledge of labor law, we see as a basic requirement. As a person, you are a clear role model for your employees and ambassador for the company. Creating results is a given for you and you run your warehouse with an entrepreneurial spirit. You have good communication skills and value internal and external contacts. We are looking for a team player who finds it easy to collaborate and is passionate about creating a good atmosphere in the workplace.
