We are strengthening the management organization at the healthcare centers Borensberg and Lyckorna by expanding leadership with a healthcare unit manager at Lyckorna and ensuring that a healthcare unit manager is in place at Borensberg. The goal is to enable close leadership and contribute to a good work environment. The healthcare centers have been a joint operation for approximately 2.5 years, and the focus going forward is to continue developing the joint organization, strengthen collaboration, and further develop common working methods. Job Description Your assignment as healthcare unit manager at Vårdcentralen Lyckorna is to lead, plan, and develop the operation in close collaboration with the operations manager, healthcare unit managers, medical director, and coordinator. In this role, you are responsible for daily management together with your management colleagues. Lyckorna has approximately 70 employees and you will be the immediate supervisor for about 20 of them. The operations manager is the immediate supervisor for all physicians. The healthcare center has approximately 15,750 registered patients. Work Group Vårdcentralerna Borensberg and Lyckorna together comprise approximately 90 employees and have a joint management and collaboration group that you will be part of. Within the operation, there is an open and warm work environment. We work to create conditions for knowledge exchange between colleagues and between different professional roles, which is also important to us. To utilize everyone's expertise and jointly provide patients with the best possible care, we handle matters jointly and work proactively to create openness and discussion. About You We are looking for someone who has worked in healthcare for several years; it is advantageous if it is from primary care. You have previous management experience; if you have been a manager within Region Östergötland or primary care, that is advantageous. A driver's license is required as the position involves travel, including between the healthcare centers. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Your personal qualities are crucial to succeeding in this role. As a person, you have good leadership qualities with the ability to motivate, create engagement, and foster participation in the group you work in. Furthermore, you collaborate well with other people, listen, and communicate in a responsive and clear manner, while also having the ability to understand another person's perspective. Since you will be working in a changing environment, you need to have the ability to easily adapt to changed circumstances and quickly be able to change your perspective and approach. Application and Employment The position of healthcare unit manager is a time-limited management assignment for four years with permanent employment within your basic profession. Interviews are planned for the afternoon of October 14 and the morning of October 16. Start date by agreement.
