The specialist clinics in Bollnäs and Söderhamn are part of Medicine Bollnäs and encompass several medical specialties such as rheumatology, endocrinology, hematology, gastroenterology, diabetes, neurology, and stroke. In Bollnäs, there is also a treatment unit that provides treatments on behalf of oncology, hematology, rheumatology, surgery, and medicine in the region. The operation consists of approximately 20 employees who work to provide the best possible care with the patient in focus. Internal collaboration and well-functioning partnerships with adjacent clinics are a natural part of our daily work. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a care unit manager, you lead the daily operations with responsibility for personnel, work environment, finances, and patient safety. You work both strategically and operatively and create structure, participation, and stability in the team. Needs at the clinics vary over time, which requires flexibility and good prioritization skills. You have an active role in the management group and work closely with the medical director and other managers within the medical field. Collaboration is a central part of the assignment—both to ensure well-functioning patient flows and to ensure decisions are made with the whole picture in mind. You have a positive and change-oriented mindset and can both be close to daily operations and look at the big picture. As a care unit manager, you have • higher education in healthcare or education in combination with work experience that the employer deems equivalent. We consider it a merit if you have documented management experience from before. If you have experience with clinic operations, that is also a merit.
