Our Offering The Orthopedic Clinic at Linköping University Hospital is part of the Center for Surgery, Orthopedics and Cancer Care (CKOC) within Region Östergötland. The clinic consists of an inpatient ward, an outpatient clinic, and a rehabilitation unit. Operations include acute and planned surgery as well as treatment. In addition to general orthopedics, the clinic's specialty areas include pediatric orthopedics, upper and lower extremity surgery, spinal surgery, and tumor surgery. The clinic actively works with production management, development, and good documentation. Together, we work for the patient's best interests. We are working to develop the healthcare administrator role and strive for proper use of competence. Job Description In your role as a healthcare administrator at the orthopedic clinic, you will collaborate with all professional disciplines at the clinic in both inpatient and outpatient care. You will be offered varied work throughout the entire care chain from incoming referral to care conclusion. Within healthcare-related administration, you will perform work tasks according to the basic assignment for healthcare administrators, including medical record documentation, referral handling, booking patient appointments, Tele-Q, and managing matters in 1177. When you start with us, you will go through an introduction program so that you can smoothly transition into your new role. In connection with our production management and development work, we have worked to improve procedures and manuals to make the introduction easier for new employees. About You We are looking for someone who is trained and has a degree as a healthcare administrator/medical secretary. It is advantageous if you have experience and interest in disease classification, Cosmic, ROS, and other IT support. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. We are looking for someone with strong collaboration skills and the ability to contribute to a good working climate in the team. You prioritize your work tasks according to the operation's needs. As a person, you are stable, service-oriented, responsible, and attentive to emerging needs. Application and Employment This is a temporary position covering for a colleague on parental leave for 12 months with good prospects for extension.
