Angered Arena is a large facility with a reception, swimming pool, gym and group fitness classes, as well as an ice rink and sports hall. Our goal is to encourage physical activity, improve public health, and support a vibrant community sports scene.
Your responsibilities will include handling maintenance requests within the facility, performing building and property maintenance work. This involves repairs, inspections, supervision, and maintenance. You will also be responsible for ordering, key management, emergency service, and SBA—systematic fire safety work. The work is performed in close contact with colleagues and staff at our facilities, as well as in spaces where our visitors spend time. Some outdoor work may occur, such as snow removal. The work is performed with a high degree of independence.
We offer you a varied and independent role with many contacts both within and outside our organization. You'll be part of an organization working on positive issues such as health and wellness and meaningful leisure time.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone with secondary education focused on building and property maintenance or equivalent education that the employer considers equivalent. You have experience with repairs and service in the building and property sector. Experience with locks, doors, and alarms as well as systematic fire safety work is a merit. It's also a plus if you have experience working at a sports facility.
To succeed in this role, you need good collaboration skills and a service-oriented approach. As a person, you are thorough, flexible, and responsible, and you have the ability to structure and complete your tasks independently. You have good computer skills and are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
A Class B driver's license is required as you will need to drive a car on the job.
