Security Guard at an embassy in central Stockholm

About the Position
As a security guard at the embassy, you are an important part of daily operations. You are responsible for welcoming visitors, managing access and departures, and contributing to a safe and secure environment for both guests and staff. You also work closely with the embassy's security function and assist with security-related matters and preparedness.
The role includes, among other things:
- Receiving and registering visitors
- Access control and management of visitor flows
- Support to the security manager on security-related matters
- Handling alarms, primarily fire alarms
- Daily contact with visitors, staff, and external partners

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you need to:
- Have complete and valid security guard training (VU1 and VU2)
- Be approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company
- Be free of criminal convictions, drug-free, and have your finances in order
- Be fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Meritorious
- Experience from reception, security work, or similar service-oriented roles
- Training as a security officer or protective officer
- Experience in international environments
- Additional language skills
