You will be part of the Quality unit and work alongside colleagues who work in various ways to develop and improve working methods at Vafabmiljö. About the role As an occupational health and safety specialist, you'll have an important role in developing Vafabmiljö's occupational health and safety work. You will work strategically and long-term to develop systematic occupational health and safety efforts and create good conditions for managers and operations to work preventatively. In close collaboration with managers, you will support their occupational health and safety responsibilities. Together, you will develop approaches for risk assessments, monitoring, and preventive occupational health and safety work. You will conduct planning and training sessions, which gives managers knowledge and confidence in their role. You will develop instructions and materials that make it easy to work in a unified way. Since it's important to stay current with developments in the occupational health and safety field, you will ensure that changes in legislation and regulations become part of the organization's working methods. Who are you? For you to thrive and succeed in the role, we see that you are a person who builds good relationships and creates trust, both in your competence and in how you meet people. You work independently and have the ability to see the bigger picture, identify development areas, and drive occupational health and safety matters forward in a structured way. Close and constructive collaboration with managers, safety representatives, and other functions is a natural part of the work. The role requires you to be organized, analytical, and communicative, with the ability to translate complex issues into clear working methods and bring others along in change.
