We are now recruiting several full-time drivers in Köping to handle waste collection in the region. About the Role As a driver with us, you will have a physical, varied, and meaningful job where you operate both side-loader and rear-loader trucks to collect waste from households and businesses. In this role, you will work closely with transport management and supervisors who support your workday by planning routes efficiently. Daily routes are predetermined and planned via Future/Mobile, our transport management system. You are responsible for completing today's assignments and reporting any deviations. During your workdays, you are the organization's extended arm in the field and represent VafabMiljö in a trustworthy manner. After completing your route, you weigh in and empty the waste containers at our waste facilities. Work environment is important to us, and you are responsible for daily vehicle maintenance. Your main responsibilities: - Operate various types of transport vehicles (side-loaders and rear-loaders) safely and efficiently to collect waste. - Execute daily routes from Mobile and report and log any deviations in the system. - Ensure waste containers are weighed in and emptied correctly at our waste facility after each daily route. - Contribute to a pleasant work environment, including responsibility for daily vehicle maintenance. - Represent the organization in a trustworthy manner. To succeed in the role, we see that you have: - Completed upper secondary education in vehicle and transport or relevant vocational training. Alternatively, relevant experience as a professional driver. - Class C driver's license. - Valid ADR certification. - Driver qualification card (Förarkort). - Good ability to handle digital work tools, such as mobile apps and mobile email. - Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Other Good to Know: In this recruitment, we are seeking several new colleagues. These are full-time positions until further notice, with a 6-month probationary period. You will be based at our operations office in Köping, and work will primarily be conducted in the region, but we help each other across VafabMiljö's entire region. Working hours are weekdays only, with normal shifts from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The weekly working time is 38.25 hours. Work may also occur on public holidays that fall Monday–Friday.
