DUTIES Borgholm Energi is responsible for municipal water and wastewater in Borgholm Municipality. A large part of the work is to maintain and manage existing facilities, but also to plan and build for the future. Within our geographic work area, we provide services to approximately 13,000 users, maintain 120 miles of pipelines, 4 treatment plants, 120 pump stations, 6 water treatment plants, and 20 pressure boosting stations. We produce approximately 1,800,000 m³ of drinking water and treat approximately 1,500,000 m³ of wastewater each year. We are now looking for a dedicated Water and Wastewater Analyst for the Water and Wastewater Pipeline unit—a key role in our work to ensure access to clean water and sustainable wastewater solutions for the municipality's residents. We work with reinvestment, expansion of water and wastewater services, and ongoing operational issues where you will play a central role. As a Water and Wastewater Analyst in the Pipeline unit, you will work on: · Investigations, subscriber inquiries, and project support · Responsible for permit applications, land agreements, pipeline easements · System management of water and wastewater database, pipeline database, project processes · Support for operations and maintenance as well as participation in future investments On-call duty is not included in the position today but may be included in the future. A six-month probationary period may be applied. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you with relevant water and wastewater background such as engineering education, technical education, project management education, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. Previous work in water and wastewater operations or similar technical field is a merit. Merit qualifications: · Experience with water and wastewater investigation work including customer contacts · Experience with permit applications to County Administrative Boards, Land Survey Authority, Swedish Transport Administration, and other authorities · Experience with ground construction contracts · Experience and knowledge of the Public Water Services Act · Experience with water and wastewater databases and similar systems You will be part of a small and flexible organization where cooperation and independence go hand in hand.
