WORK TASKS
The Water and Sewage and Waste Management Department operates under the Technical Administration. The department consists of 40 people distributed across water, sewage and waste management. The department has a turnover of 145 million SEK and operates 15 water treatment plants, 12 sewage treatment plants, 50 pump stations, 80 miles of pipelines, waste management, landfill and recycling center. We handle sewage and waste and deliver our most vital resource – clean water.
We offer an outward-facing and responsible job in a small organization with a high degree of independence, and we are looking for you who are ready to take on new challenges. You are the key person who ensures that work moves forward from start to finish. You will collaborate with colleagues within the department and administration, with other departments as well as with contractors and consultants.
As a project manager, you will coordinate projects and develop tasks for investigations, design, maintenance and renovation and new construction of water and sewage treatment plants as well as pump stations. An exciting and meaningful job where you can make a difference for the municipality's residents every day!
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have relevant education with appropriate focus on water and sewage technology or focus on water and wastewater treatment, or alternatively you have several years of experience in the field and have developed corresponding knowledge and expertise. You have previous experience in project management. Technical and chemical process knowledge for water and sewage is a requirement.
You have an interest in technical solutions, are driven by change and development, and are service-oriented and accustomed to driving projects from start to finish. To succeed in the role, qualities such as accuracy, initiative and collaboration skills are required. You are service-oriented, responsible and flexible. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
Swedish language skills (spoken and written), B-class driver's license and good computer skills are required.
