Jefferson Wells is now seeking a Development Engineer for an exciting assignment in Linköping. Here you'll have the opportunity to work with advanced technical systems in an operation where innovation, quality, and continuous development are in focus. About the role
As a Development Engineer, you will work with both further development of existing systems and creation of new technical solutions. You'll participate throughout the development process, from requirements analysis and design to verification, implementation, and commissioning.
The role offers a varied daily routine where you combine technical development work with practical work in the operation. You collaborate closely with colleagues from different functions and have great opportunities to influence both technical solutions and working methods and processes.
Your responsibilities
Drive and participate in development projects from requirements specification to final delivery
Develop and maintain PLC programs as well as work on design and further development of electrical systems
Implement safety functions and configure technical measurement systems
Assist with verification, calibration, and commissioning of new equipment
Monitor and analyze existing systems to identify improvement opportunities
Troubleshoot and develop complex technical systems
Prepare technical documentation, safety analyses, and user instructions
Participate in improvement work and development of methods and processes
Travel on business occurs, both within Sweden and internationally.
Your profile

We're looking for someone who has
Post-secondary education in electrical engineering or equivalent experience
Experience from a technical role in development, maintenance, or operations
Good experience with technical documentation and drawing materials
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
