About the position The National Board of Health and Welfare is strengthening its efforts to improve healthcare accessibility through better balance between needs and capacity. With us, you will contribute to national work that creates value for patients, healthcare professionals, and leadership. You will join the unit for healthcare capacity and accessibility, which supports regions and municipalities in areas including production and capacity management, national care coordination, and development of healthcare accessibility monitoring. In this role, you will work on one or more assignments together with colleagues and in close dialogue with various stakeholders and actors. You will help develop knowledge and create support that enables healthcare to meet care needs with available capacity. Your work will also include planning, implementing, and reporting on assignments both internally and externally. You may also participate in other investigative assignments within the unit or the agency. Travel within Sweden occurs regularly. About you To succeed in this role, you need to be self-directed, responsible, and solution-oriented. You have the ability to see the bigger picture, adapt your approach to the situation, and find possible ways forward in complex matters. The role involves many contacts both within and outside the agency. We are looking for someone with Experience working in healthcare, for example in municipal health services, primary care, and/or in psychiatry, or alternatively experience working with finance and/or logistics in healthcare Academic education in areas the agency considers relevant, such as healthcare, finance, logistics Good knowledge of healthcare planning, management, and organization Experience working with healthcare accessibility Very good communication skills to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish It is advantageous if you have Extensive work experience developing procedures, standards, or solutions that create practical value Experience with investigative work or project management in government operations Experience working on healthcare-related issues in the public sector or private industry Relevant work experience with production and capacity management in healthcare Current, multi-year, and relevant work experience in development and/or investigative work within the healthcare sector Good to know The positions are permanent full-time appointments with a six-month probationary period. You will be based at our office on Västerbroplan in Stockholm, but have the opportunity to work remotely up to two days per week. In spring 2027, we are moving to Solna Strand. Your job title will be Analyst and your placement will be in the department for healthcare and dental care at system level.
