Education Leader for Vocational Dental Hygiene Program

Ref: 20262073 We are seeking an education leader with training expertise for the Vocational University of Malmö City, part of Komvux Malmö, for a permanent full-time position in our vocational dental hygiene program. Responsibilities In this role, you will lead and organize the education, plan and implement the academic year together with your manager, colleagues, students, and internal and external training consultants. You will work to ensure quality and develop the education together with the management group, and serve as the program's contact person for the industry and the Swedish Board of Vocational Education (Myndigheten för yrkeshögskolan). In this role, you will recruit, coach, teach, and mentor students, as well as work to inform about and market the program to prospective students. As an educator, you will work to ensure that students receive good development and actively work to influence and motivate students to meet learning objectives. The work includes planning, teaching and assessment, as well as evaluation and development of educational activities in accordance with the program's curriculum and course plans. You also have responsibility for quality and coordination of students' internship periods (workplace learning). At the Vocational University of Malmö City, we place great emphasis on maintaining high quality in our programs. We have good collaboration with other professionals within Komvux Malmö who contribute their expertise in adult learning. You will collaborate with and report to the section manager. The program is on-site and the position is on-site at the school five days per week. Qualifications Requirements: University degree or Vocational University degree, preferably with a focus on dental care, secondarily for example marketing, leadership, or pedagogy Several years of professional experience as an education leader Familiarity with using digital tools for communication and education Excellent Swedish, both spoken and written.
