The Procurement Unit is part of the Service Administration. The Service Administration coordinates, develops, and delivers quality support with a broad range of services to all operations within the municipal group. What we deliver must be beneficial to residents.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As Procurement Director, you are the unit manager for the Procurement Unit and lead a team of approximately 26 employees. Your employees have professional roles as procurement officers/category leaders, purchasing controllers, buyers, procurement coordinators, procurement developers, e-commerce managers, sustainability developers, product coordinators, and administrators. You also have three supervisors who support the team.
You will lead a stable group of competent and motivated employees where both job satisfaction and morale are high. In your role, you will work strategically and tactically to develop the municipality's procurement and purchasing operations, which also includes collaborating with the entire municipal group and networking with other municipalities. The focus is on working commercially and continuing to develop category management work. As Procurement Director, you will be highly involved and a driving force in these matters, collaborating broadly across the municipal group.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a management background and several years of experience in procurement/purchasing at both operational and strategic levels. You hold an academic degree with relevant subject specialization. It is a major advantage if you are familiar with the Public Procurement Act (LOU) and have worked in a similar role in public operations. It is also beneficial if you have experience leading development and change initiatives and good experience with category-managed procurement work.
You are a confident and experienced leader who, with the support of your supervisors, has the ability to lead forward and hold together a large team. You are an outgoing person who enjoys networking and representing the municipality in various contexts. You are also someone who enjoys involving others, is skilled at communicating and listening to others. You drive procurement and purchasing matters with great knowledge and commitment.
