At City Properties (Stadsfastigheter), we manage and develop Malmö City's preschools, schools, support and elderly care facilities, as well as culture and recreation facilities, and we are one of Malmö City's largest procurers. We are in an intensive development phase with the direction of creating one cohesive Malmö. City Properties is seeking two procurement specialists responsible for procuring City Properties' framework agreements for efficient and sustainable management, covering goods, services, and construction contracts. You will also need to be able to support with landlord procurements and partially with procurement of rental contracts for premises on the external market where the city cannot meet the space needs itself. The procurement specialists that City Properties is seeking will work together with colleagues from both the project unit and the property management unit. Together, you will be responsible for needs analysis, market analysis, procurement strategy, and procurement work. The work also includes participation in the continuous monitoring of our agreements. You will plan and coordinate work together with contract owners and contract administrators. You will be part of the project unit, which is City Properties' unit responsible for construction projects, leasing, and procurement. You will work across the entire organization. You will be responsible for procurements, contract meetings, procurement coordination with other departments in the city, etc. The role also includes serving as a resource for the department in procurement matters. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a university degree equivalent to 180 credits/bachelor's level in law, economics, or procurement, or another education and experience deemed equivalent. You have at least 3 years of experience working as a procurement specialist/purchaser and experience with the Public Procurement Act (LOU). It is a merit if you have previous experience with construction procurement and strategic purchasing in the real estate industry, as well as experience working with landlord procurements or procurements with a focus on sustainability aspects. You should be knowledgeable in LOU/AB/ABT/ABFF, etc. You have good computer and system skills and are an experienced user of electronic procurement tools. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required for the position. As a person, you enjoy working independently and initiating and driving your own work. You are positive, communicative, and relationship-building as you enjoy collaborating with others. The tasks require an ability to lead yourself and others in the projects you drive and are responsible for. You should be careful, structured, and analytical with the ability to translate analyses and objectives into strategic business arrangements that enable development, efficiency improvements, and cost savings in the city's procurements and agreements.
