The Department of Health (TIHA) is one of six departments at the Faculty of Engineering Sciences. The department conducts research and education in health, care and nursing with the aim of preventing disease, extending life and promoting health from the perspective of citizens, patients and healthcare professionals. In our operations, research and clinical practice are integrated with technical knowledge to promote a good life. Job Description
The Department of Health offers education at undergraduate and specialist nursing level, doctoral level, as well as commissioned training in medicine and nursing, primarily aimed at the Swedish Armed Forces. TIHA's research subject Applied Health Technology is visible in all education programs. We are now seeking a university lecturer. The employment includes theoretical and practical teaching in nursing and medical science. Job duties include assessments in work-based education (VFU) and clinical skills training at the department's clinical training center (KTC) as well as lectures, examinations, seminars and workshops. Teaching takes place on campus, in clinical settings and online, primarily in Swedish, but teaching in English may occur.
Qualification Requirements
To be eligible for employment as a university lecturer, you must have:
completed a higher education degree of at least 180 higher education credits or have equivalent competence, or have some other skill that is relevant considering the subject matter of the employment and the work tasks included in the position.

Specific Requirements for This Position
Swedish licensure as a registered nurse.
Master's degree in nursing/nursing science or equivalent.
Specialist nurse education in acute care, ambulance care, anesthesia care or operating room nursing.
